For many this sentence would have ended with the word “nation”. However, now some or even most might change it to the “planet” or “society” or many other options. Here, therefore, you will find our visual take on how you might end that sentence, as a comment on the globe, our societies and more. The view of how things are has been with us forever, travel back into the relatively recent past, the fears of terror, of technology, of nature , our neighbours, haunt the conversation and commentary of our times. Whether it was via wood cut block prints, or today via X, we live for fear, blame and cannot stop ourselves, dreaming of utopia, without some thing, movement or people. Perhaps we should step back and look with art into what we can actually do, when we are creative, industrious and not full of fear. We have done it before, let us embrace what we must to be do better and not let our fear, lead us to hide from true dangers and misalign our aims on those elements, who are not a problem.
